
The Salad and Prepared Foods Business provides prepared foods and cut vegetables, centered on salads, to the ready-made foods market where further growth is anticipated, backed by increase in the number of working women and single-life households. The Business has offered cut vegetables at more than 10,000 mass- merchandise stores throughout Japan under the brand name of Salad Club. In 2009, Kewpie reinforced its production system in order to meet the expanded demand in the Kanto, Chubu and Kyushu regions. Kewpie takes advantage of its national production network to offer products finely in tune with the diversity of preferences in each region.
