This second SalaCon was conducted on a global scale as we extended participation to overseas companies, receiving a total of 373 recipes from various countries.

This salad combines figs, sautéed liver, parmesan cheese, escarole, and watercress.
The liver is sautéed, flambéed in brandy, and served with a lightly simmered sauce made with balsamic vinegar.
The fluffy vegetables add a refreshing touch to the rich liver and sticky figs.
- The key point is to properly cook the liver. The liver should remain elastic after pressing down on it. If overcooked, the liver will be dry.
Fig Salad is perfect with an aperitif or for lunch. The unexpected combination of figs and liver is exquisite, and we were conscious of its nutritional balance. We wanted to create a salad that highlights a way to enjoy figs, and hope everyone enjoys!

This kind of competition brings out our creativeness on how we incorporate our Kewpie product in Filipino menus. Our spring roll with Roasted sesame dressing is a filipino known snack and since it is a well known snack we intend to use our flavorful and aromatic flavor of our roasted sesame dressing. At first, we thought it is not possible because we, filipinos are already use to the sweet peanut sauce for this snack but when we tried using our roasted sesame dressing, it became more flavorful and adding a twist in a filipino recipe.
